BEST REP METHODS (2K19)

Note: the numbers quoted here are rounded to the nearest multiple of 5 and for MyCAREER are from Hall of Fame difficulty. (To calculate for a different difficulty : divide by 1.55 for Pro, 1.41 for All-Star and 1.15 for Superstar)
The actual amount can vary dependent on your shooting percentage. The numbers listed here are the max amount (i.e. if you shot 100%).
Those marked with a * are not dependent on shooting percentage.
In MyCAREER, some events have a limit on how much you can do them in one game and if you exceed this limit any further makes will not give any extra MyPoints, a table with the known limits so far is available below the MyCAREER table.

The most efficient way to get rep is to combine multiple events. Some good examples with video demonstration below:
Pick & Roll finish + Good screen + Alley-oop finish + Strong finish + Posterizing dunk : 1400 - 2500 per shot (won't always count as a poster dunk)
Pick & Pop score + Good screen + Perimeter shot + Limitless three : 1800 per shot
Pick&roll success + Dribble drive success + Posterizing dunk + Strong finish : 1700 per shot
Dribble drive success + Moving shot + Limitless three : 1390 per shot
Dropstep + Up&Under / Posterizing dunk : 1000-1400 per shot
Dribble drive success / Post spin finish + Post spin shot + Moving shot : 1300 per shot
Dribble drive success + Pick & Roll success + Moving shot + Corner three : 1200 per shot
Dribble drive success + Pick & Roll success + Post fadeaway : 1150 per shot
Dribble drive success + Perimeter shot + Limitless three : 1100 per shot

TIPS

Get your teammate chemistry above 50% and only use team takeover rather than just your own as it lasts much longer.

Run halfcourt trap on defense - this will lead to either steals or the opposition scoring in the first 10 seconds of the shot clock meaning you get more possessions on offense.

To do this: while on defense, if you are a PG or have the On Court Coach badge, press left on the d-pad and then RT/R2 then X/Square.

If you aren't a PG/don't have the OCC badge yet, wait until you get team takeover and then switch to the PG using RB/R1 and A/X and do the same.

Avoid matchups against players with 90+ on-ball defense IQ and/or 80+ on-ball steal tendency, you won't get as many MyPOINTS in these games as their ankles don't break as often, they slip through screens faster, are faster to recover and contest shots and steal the ball from you a lot.

You can change the position you play and who you matchup with in the Minutes submenu once you've reached 38 minutes per game.

If you're a PG: you can play SG by putting another PG in at PG (make sure on their player card PG is the only position listed)

If you're a SG: you can play PG by putting 2 SFs in at SG and SF or play SF by putting 2 PGs in at PG and SG

If you're a SF: you can play SG by putting 2 PFs in at SF and PF or play PF by putting 2 SGs in at SG and SF

If you're a PF: you can play SF by putting 2 Cs in at PF and C or play C by putting in 2 SFs at SF and PF

If you're a C: you can play PF by putting another C in at C (make sure on their player card C is the only position listed)

Put all the starters to 48 minutes and have the sixth man be someone that can't play the position you're trying to play (e.g a big if you're a guard etc) and you will play at this different position for 90+% of the game.

Note: You can't play outside of the positions I mention, e.g. you can't play PF/C if you're a PG, as the game will switch you back to your natural position and sub in someone that does actually play that position the first time there's a foul/out of bounds turnover/timeout.
